Have you performed a "system restore" recently?

Not sure. When you say your computer starts running like it should, you mean it seems like it's loading the sim, but it never finishes?

On your toolbar, where you see "Microsoft Flight Sim..." left click on that as if it's minimised, that has worked for me... ;)

You could try it but before you do that have you pressed CRTL ALT DELETE and click on the task manager while your system is supposed to be loading FS and then click on the application tab if it does not show FS loading I would suggest you right click on the FS icon then select properties and make sure the target file is correct and confirm that FS.exe is indeed in the folder it points to. 8-)

Just go to your installation folder and try running it directly from that. If that doesnt work. Start it up again, and hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete; does it say Not Responding next to flight simulator 9?

Depending on your PC...It may say not responding in the task manager even if it is. Mine always says not responding when starting, but it is working fine. Just a heads up.

Good luck!

oh i fixed it  :)
what i did was when i first installed it, i moved the main folder to locate it easier, and when i did that, it created a shortcut and left some files out. so i put them all in one and it works now   :D
