You most certainly can...Real airlines use the 777 for the trip across the pond

Let alone Heathrow...Pakistan International Airlines flies their 777 all the way across to Pakistan from Toronto...Non stop!!

If a 767 can make it across the Atlantic (been there, done that) a 777 sure can, baby!

That's what they were built for: transcontinental flight. I see them flying overhead every so often as they fly in from Europe to land at Houston Intercontinental Airport.
