Is he mute?

Postby Kaworu » Fri Oct 19, 2007 9:18 am

Interesting little problem I've got now, one of my pilot/atc voices have disappeared. The text appears fine in the ATC window, built the voice is gone. It's annoying, but not crippling though. I'm just looking for a way to bring him/her back. I use Editvoicepack.

If it is one of the standard voices then just pull it off the relevent CD and drop the file into your FS9/Sound folder.... if it is an add-on one you'll probably need to do something similar ;)

With EditVoicePack, once you install the package, make sure you re-assign a Pilot's voice...It's just a EditVoicePack thing...It should work...Did for me ;) ;)

No luck, Now whatever voice I use is gone from my transmissions and ATC's. What cd has the ATC voice on it. I'll copy over the default files for all voices then reupdate voice pack.

--------------------------------------UPDATE---------------------------------
Now, All of my voices except a male and a female voice are gone. I haven't replaced default files yet as mentioned above.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Thanks dave, but some of the voices are still not working.

I've restored the original  voice pack through Editvoicepack, and I 'm going to see if it works after I do some homework.

I fixed it. Editvoicepack was corrupting files, so I reinstalled it. Fixed everything.  :)
