I have a serious error In FS2004, At take off it doesnt lagg but when im in the air I get around 3fps, it has never done that until
I reinstalled after a scenary problem. Their is also another one when I want to end the flight it doesnt come to the main menu
it just freezes. I've updated the drivers and still no-go

here are is my system
2.78 GHz Intel celeron
512mb ram
ATI Radeon 9550
120GB total drivespace

Strange, I have had the take-off FPS bug about a month ago, but don't have it anymore.
I've never found a solution, but it's surely not the hardware.
I don't have an Intel like you, I don't have an ATI like you. AMD and NVIDIA. --> Can't be hardware!

I believe you have either installed some graphic improving add-on recently, have to much porgrams running in background or  just a very defragmented hard drive.

But, however, remember, I have never solved this problem, but it got away by itself!  ;)
Just wait a week, fly fs much but don't land or take off! This may help!

PS: Try a different aircraft! I got it most time when doing VTOL landings with IRIS F-35 what does not mean it's an aircraft bug, but it happend more often, FS froze here.

Have you installed the 9.1 update yet? It may help.

If you try to turning your sim's graphics settings down to thier minimums, does that help?

I've  got a similar problem on my PC (seespecs below).
