ok, help please?

I am trying to unistall FS9. When i tried a couple weeks ago, it said it couldnt unistall it. now, i cant even find the folder! is there any of the four disks i could put in to do it or what?  :-?

what's the problem if it's away from your harddrive?
And have you tried both ways of un-installing:

FS uses two different (!) uninstallers that do the same thing.
The first one is started with Control Panel > Software
and the second one can be accessed by the autorun menu when inserting FS Disc 1.
I believe the second method is better, however I always prefer it.

Why are you trying to uninstall FS 2004? ...:o...!

Surely you don't intend to replace it with FSX?... :o... :o... :o...!

Chase_23,

As Revelator states, try inserting CD1. If you do not get the uninstall option, then download and run the Flight1 FS9/FSX Registry Repair Tool. Try uninstall again.

If that doesn't work, you can follow the steps outlined in the How to manually remove FS2004 document.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
