Are there any freeware 747 or 777 panels that have altitude callouts?


And can someone tell me what the lights are called that are along the side of the runway that count down. I assume they are to let the pilots know how close they are to the end of the runway but i just needed clarification.

Call outs can be downloaded by them selves and become part of any air craft as it is just a gauge and not the entire panel you need so if you have any aircraft in your fleet that has callouts all you have to do is to copy the gauge to the other aircraft JUST MAKE SURE YOU CORRECT THE LINE NUMBER SO YOU DO NOT HAVE DUPLICATES

these lights werent before or after the runway... they were alongside it... i noticed them last month when landing at 4R KORD... i noticed they werent on fs9... the numbers on the signs count down from 10 to 1 i believe ... now, where can i get a guage.. and what is this about chaging the lines or the numbers? sorry, i can install planes and panels but idk about changing guages

I believe they tell how much runway is left in thousands of feet 10 = 10000' 1= 1000' (used for foggy landings when you cant see the whole runway is my guess for why they have them)

If there were to be any way to add them they would be in some add on scenery for ORD.

That's correct...It tells the pilots how much runway is left

Like I said in my last post if you have a aircraft that has altitude call outs all you have to do is to open the aircrafts panel folder then open the panel cfg if you look down the list of text you will notice line numbers and window numbers Usually the Main panel is window number 1 under this you will see a list of gauges look for a gauge called FPDACALLOUT or something like that. When I get home I will send you a copy of the exact line you will need to add.
This is really not a hard task to add the gauge since it is not even seen you do not have to worry about posistioning it.
Trying to find a panel that allready has a callout gauge in it could be a major task as most designers will not mention if the panel has altitude call outs in it and the only way to find out is by trail and error. This could take some time to find the correct panel. Trust me it is easier to just add the line like I said.
I will send you the line to add and explain where to put it when I get home from work Usually about 5:00 PM Eastern Time.

this was taken from a Boeing 737-200
notice the line number here is 00 so the next numbers would be 01,02,03 and so on so when you puth this line in your panel cfg file just make the line number one digit higher than the las entry in that window Example if the last number was 23 than make this gauge24

DO not try to use this line unless you have the gauge DC8_boeing_callout
otherwise you will get a error when you start up FS using the panel you put this line in. 8-)
