Am I back? Yes, I think so.....
I was in a Youth hostel or how this is called.
Man, I am tired... I have slept for long  8-) two hours.......
(from 1:00 am to 3:00 am, than the teachers went to bed and the girls came back to our room....) :D :D

now to what I wanted to say:

they said it wasnt possible but revelator did it.

Microsoft? And did it really work correctly also on your computer?! cooool,
Thanks for your feedback above and coming!

Hmm, I was somehow sure that there will be problems,
but don't know how to fix them.

Hi Amos,  hi Rev......sorry I have only just twigged what you were referring to here.....you meant you didn't want your splash screen "disfiguring" with that hideous loading bar eh?

I still don't know just what Rev did to remove it, but myself I resized (after backing up the original)  the file dlgalert.bmp which is in the uires folder.........make it just one pixel x one pixel which makes it virtually invisible on the opening splash screen........

Unfortunately as you have noticed the other uses for this .bmp are also missing such as "are you sure you want to exit Flight sim" but as you also found out just hit the return key as necessary.......

Worth it though to be able to admire your fav. splash screen during loading  :)

Sorry if it's the same as your method Rev.......if so you must take all the credit due....

............best..commoner ;)

:D :D Keep cool! I haven't taken copyrights for it! :D :D

And it's NOT your method!
But it also uses this file.

I changed dlgalert.bmp and a few other files to completely transparent with overwriting it in Photoshop.

I thought I was able to release the final package these days,
but I will need another few days.
Also, I decided to write a small utility,
which allows you to switch between the FS9 style loading bar box, the FSX style which looks much better and completely making it invisible.

best,
Rev

PS: @amos89
Have you figured out which dialogs are also not visible if there are any?

Hi Rev...you are doing a great job which needed doing...hope to see your results when ready and use them too with a bit of luck..

I haven't gone into this any further than to get rid of that loading screen but might try and do some more studying of the feature...for the time being I am just happy with things as they are......

Good luck with your project....commoner ;)

;D ;D

I first only made this for FS9, but I downloaded the FSX demo, not for playing, but to find out, which files are also there and which not.
No it seems to also work for FSX, but I haven't tried it.
I hope to pass a beta to all of you that are ineterested to figure out, which problems occur by that.
Then I can write it in a readme, and publish it as final.
