need some help

Postby jrd954 » Sat Sep 08, 2007 10:36 am

I downloaded the antonov 225 and it says in the readme that the nose should open, however I have tried all the shortcut keys and I can't get it to open. If someone knows how to open it your help would be greatly appreciated.

jrd,

Which Antonov AN-225 did you happen to download?  I happened to have found two available for download here at SimV:

Here: http://www.simviation.com/fs2004jets68.htm

And, here: http://www.simviation.com/fs2004jets103.htm

Was either of these the aircraft you downloaded?

As a wild guess, have you tried assigning a key command to the tailhook fuction?  I know that some of the models with multiple animated features will assign extra cargo doors and the like to the tailhook function.  It can be worth checking into.

Best of luck,

I downloaded the FS2004 Antonov An-124 Ruslan in Antonov Airlines Colors and every thing works fine, on my key setup to open the nose door it is shift+E followed by 2. To open the rear door it is the tail hook hot key which is what ever you set as your hot key. Hope this helps you.

Hi...well it's shift+E then 2 on this one for the cargo door and just Shift+E for the entry door.......the 225 doesn't have a rear cargo door!........commoner ;)
