Anyone recognize this scenery?

Postby Etienne62 » Sun Aug 26, 2007 8:05 pm

Hi all, I've just seen this video on youtube, and i'm wondering where he got the surrounding scenery from. I know its Mexico City.  I'd buy it if only i could find it.

I've scoured the net and can't find anything remotely like it.

Looks default to me. Lower res videos can trick you into thinking theres more scenery than there really is.

Think you're right there monkey. I just flew over the area, reduced my visibility, maxed out my autogen setting, and if, as you say, low res videos were added into the mix. Then i think it would look the same.
Thanx
Stephen.

Yup, look like full default to me too. Desperately boring vid!

Don't you just LOVE some of the comments on YouTube though?

"awesome flying!!! 5 of 5. good landing one of the best iv seen!" It BOUNCED!

"its way easier to control it with the joy stick instead of the computer arrows right???" Duh, yeah!

"do you guys download these commercial airlines like american airlines?? from the internet??" No, we download them from a newspaper..... ::) He's found YouTube, how come has no idea of sites like SimV, AVSIM, FSDome, FlightSim, etc, etc??

It's another world for some people!! ;D ;D ;D

Yea, I thought the subtle use of the POV to change views was particularly good ;D
However, I suppose it's easy to critise and we have all got to start somewhere.
Me, I prefer to leave that sort of thing to others.

Well, regarding the landing, I have to admit that it was not worse than what I usually accomplish!
