.cfg engine parameters

Can someone please explain the function of the four engine parameters in the aircraft .cfg file, namely two RPM efficiency scalars and two RPM friction scalars?       I find that a number of my aircraft do not generate the advertised RPM at full power.    I believe that these four entries provide a means of 'tweaking' RPM but I don't know which one does what.

Not sure what those do, but you can always copy/save the original Aircraft.cfg to your desktop (or wherever), and tweak those values until you reach the desirable setting. I DO know you can change the Max_RPM reached while using auto throttle, under Autopilot/autothrottle_Max_RPM.

Thanks PD87.     Regretfully, I am not much forrarder.      Surely some of the 'aces' know what these damn scalars do.
