Fixing a flat tire

Okay, I know some clown is going to suggest getting out a jack and fixing the flat tires, but I want to fix it so they don't look like this. I know it involves the contact points in the aircraft.cfg file.

I've already adjusted the speed - way too high. I'm sorry but this AC doesn't cruise at 477kts., a max speed of 863kts and max mach at 1.3. It has a better feel to it now, but I forgot to test it on GPS. Originally, it shuddered like it wanted to tear itself apart. I've also corrected the sound file - it was a Cessna 172. What was this guy thinking?

Any suggestions on fixing the contact points for the tires would be helpful. And sorry it's dark. I should have changed it to earlier in the day after completing the flight in the evening.

You need to adjust the contact points in the aircraft.cfg ;)

like ozzy says it's the main wheels that need lifting a tad.........the points you need to change are (this is the Beech King) in red on the pic...the top number is the nose wheel, which looks ok ..the other two should be adjusted to suit as follows.....(NOTE they are NEGATIVE numbers)..... make the number smaller to raise the wheels.......hope you understand that  -5 is SMALLER that -4...sorry to have to say this but that simple fact is not understood by everybody  ;)  Different aircraft have slightly different numbers but the idea is the same...just go in small fractions at a time and remember where you started so that you can go back (back up your file)......have fun...commoner ;D

You might as well get use to changing sound files and sometimes the panel as well since most freeware aircraft designers do not know how to make sound or panels for the aircraft they design. I have to admit that using a cesna sound for a twin engine aircraft is pretty dumb he could of at least used the default baron or King Air if turbo prop for sound it might not be exact but it would be more realistic though. 8-)

No, no...... you don;t need a jack.  You just need an air compressor...they are just a little low, not flat!   ;)

sorry....couldn't resist after that lead in straight line
