Wrong Panel

Postby vololiberista » Thu Jul 26, 2007 4:55 pm

I seem to remember seeing this problem in the forum before but can't remember where.
I usually start with a selected a/c sometimes when I want to change it the panel from the previously selected a/c remains even though the newly selected a/c has one of it's own.
Could someone remind me how to correct this glitch.

Sorry - cannot help with your panel but I get this with sound sometimes.  Start with props, change to a jet but get prop sound.
When the c**p hits the fan, get a tent.

Is the panel.cfg there?

It sounds to me like the airplane you are switching to is either alised to the aircraft you just swithced from or you moved the panel folder to the other aircraft. A plane will use wahtever is in the panel folder of that aircraft so if the panel folder only has one entry and that is the panel cfg file the chances are it is being alised to another aircraft. 8-)

This happens to me from time to time, when I enter the sim with a saved flight, then change the plane. Try this, instead of loading a default or saved flight, create a new fresh one using the same aircraft your having problems with, then change planes. See you still have the same issue. I've noticed the FS9 often has a difficult time refreshing what it has stored in some systems' memory.
