Terrain.dll error?

Postby Etienne62 » Mon Jul 16, 2007 4:28 pm

Hi all, Does anyone know what could be causing me to get this message? I haven't had a CTD in this game for ages, but i recently added Rome fiumicino add on scenery and i was flying to Corfu, also add on scenery, and the game has crashed to desktop twice. The "send don't send" message says that the terrain.dll will be included in the report. I unistalled the corfu scenery and tried the flight again and managed to complete it. I don't know anything about scenery config files. Are there any ways to check for scenery problems that might occur?
Thanx.
Stephen.,

Unfortunately no. There is no way to check a scenery file for errors as it is a compiled file. You can check airports for errors by using AFCAD but you can not check out say a scenery for for the Denver area. As for the DLL error was the file put in the module folder
As a rule of thumb scenery that might require a dll file that file should be placed in the module folder but not all ways. Usually a read me file will tell you where to put the files.   8-)
