'Lake of fog'

When using real world weatherI understand that this phenonenon is caused by incorrect visability layers.
I've tried using TableFog=0 in the FS9.cfg and following several threads on the topic in SimV, but I still have the problem.

What should I do?

It could be that the "un-fogged" bit is a hill top area and or is higher than the fog layer.

This is quite true with cities with high elevations, e.g. Mexico City.

Yes, the terrain is varied there, but his point is: why is the transition so harsh? I've had the same problem myself... real fog does not just end like that, even when it's a clearly defined layer.

I think it is a feature of the default weather system....only an add on or the FSUIPC pro version will help....
