planes at gate

Does anyone know if you can start out at any terminal gate with engines already off when you are ready to fly. I know you can shut them off but it would be nice to start out with things quiet. Any help is appreciated.

If you want to start cold and dark at a gate ...... you'll need to start a flight at a gate then shut your engines and avionics down. At this point save the flight as the default flight.
Next time you start cold and dark at the gate should be how the sim starts.
