Tree files in FS9?

It sounds somehow idiomatic but does anybody know where I can find trees and other plants in FS9? Ok, of course I'm talking of the Files...... :D
I guess they'll be in a bgl file. I already found the tree textures in \texture, but where the other files (the shape=model files) are stored?
I'm looking for this because of I won't upgrade to FSX, and am now trying to get all my FS9 more maxed out than just add-ons, add-ons and add-ons. The other things I already replaced are the splash effects when landing or crashing on water, Crash effects like explosions, flames, craters (these last 3 things are by SelectFX), and all the lights, smoke effects.

The main one is in scenery/world/scenery but I'm not sure what it's called as I'm on my laptop right now and don't have Flight Simulator installed.

Also check out this tread on trees.

I was going to suggest a search for Gerrish Grey's excellent alternative tree set, (available here), but from your requirements  listed above, (explosions, crashes, fire, etc), I imagine you would be more interested in Combat Flight Simulation rather than regular General/Commercial Aviation in FS9 using the Autogen ground scenery... ::)...?

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder try these.

photorealistic_vegetation_texture.zip
Mine came from> www.avsim.com

SilverWings.zip> here I think.

I have FS Terrain, and I do get some conflicts with older scenery not displying right. Dark earth patches showing bright red! So contrast has to be turned down from maximum to medium, so test watchout for the irregualities!

...just a note....

Gerrish Grey's FS 2002 tree-set works fine in FS 2004.

(Look for the latest versions)...;)...!

Make sure you pop the originals into a spare folder, (with some added compost),  before replacing then with the new ones... ;)...!

Set the Season to Autumn (Fall) and observe the lovely golden foliage*... :)...!

Paul.... 8-)...!

*  P.S. All my flights are in the Autumn for that very reason... ;D...!

Lots of "things" for FS 2002 are also fine for FS 2004...just try them out...;)...!

But thanks, I'll look for it!

..we "Flight Sim Oldies" always refer to FS9 affectionately as; "FS 2004"...(It came after FS 2002)...;)...!

FS9 was invented for all those who couldn't count up to 2,004... ;D...!

LOL... ;D...!

You may be an FS Oldie, but do you call FSX FS2006????? I think not.
And wasn't the second FS called FS2.0 ? why then not the 9th FS9? :D
