FS9 reflections

In settings-display-aircraft with the reflections box checked some of the aircraft are a little to bright for me. Is there a way to tone this down some?

Yes there is but I think that is a hell of a lot of work. You could try to change the Alpha channel in the aircraft's textures with a tool called DXTBMP. It what we Dutch call a 'monks job', but if editing and painting aircraft is your cuppa tea then you might actually enjoy it ...

And you could also try flying in the dark. ;D

Harold.....don't like flying in the dark much and I am not very bright about this computer stuff, so guess I'll do with it as is.

No probs ... just to be sure you might want to ask cloud9flyer. He's a repainter ans has more knowledge than I have on this subject.

Right-click on the Desktop....
Properties > Settings > Advanced > Gamma Correction..... ;)...!

Adjust to suit Colour/Brightness/Contrast/etc..... :)...!

Paul...A colourful Chappie... 8-)...!

I use this method to brighten up the countryside scenery in the Summer Months...;)...!
