Does anyone have any suggestions for a Map of the worl of some sort, so that you can plan out your trips? I have been going like cross country in short hops, but I have to gamble on where the next airport I want to land at might be. I need a map or maybe i am not using the flight planner correctly. Thanks for the help.

There is a program called FSNAV that allows you to create flight plans and is a moving map. It is payware but does give you some time to try it out then you will have to register it. Otherwise it will limit what you can do. You can down load both sids and stars for every airport. FSNAV is good for the entire world it will have all of the airports in the world as of the time it was made. Sorry I do not rember how much it cost to register it. I have had my version for so long I have forgotten how much I paid.
I use FSNAV to update airports in FS9 that are missing ILS runways.
