AFCAD,FSUIPC,FS9, and Windows Vista

I recently had to replace my computer. AFCAD and FSUIPC worked fine on WinXP but I'm having problems with them when I'm in the slew mode in FS9 on this new machine which is running Windows VISTA.
It's nearly impossible to negotiate the crosshair with this new setup. It's so difficult to explain what it is doing I'm not even going to attempt it. I'm not sure if it's a video driver problem or something in VISTA but I could use some help on this one if anyone has any ideas.
Here is a snapshot of my new system:
Windows VISTA Home Premium
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor+ 2.1GHZ
2 Gigs of RAM
32 Bit Operating System
256MB ATI Radeon X1300Pro syncmaster video card
Thanks for any suggestions you might have!!

:D  I have FS9 installed on Vista Premium too and like you have an ATI video card.  Mine is a PCI-E 1950pro.  The first thing I had to do was install the new Vista drivers for my card.  If you have not done this, give it a shot.  After installing the drivers FS9 worked fine although I had to turn the anti-aliasing on.

Thanks for the tip!
Last night while I was playing around with it I was able to get it to work properly with the current drivers by resizing the FS9 window while it was in the slew mode. There is a fine line between too small and too large of window but it worked. I'll try to update my drivers like you recommended.
Thanks again, it's much appreciated,
Steve
