SLEW problem.. Stopping??

I seem to be having a problem when turning off SLEW mode.

When I turn slew off, the aircraft then ZOOMS ahead at high speed (over 200Kts) and does not stop!
This happens with POSKY and MelJet aircraft.

You need to come to an almost dead stop before exciting slew mode.

This reply is in general, not specific to the Posky's or Meljet:
If your slewing on the ground and because of terrain elevation change your a/c is off the ground ( even just a ft. or 2) when you exit slew, it will begin to fly (near cruise speed). To avoid that, use the 'A' key to decend to ground level before exiting slew.
If your slewing in-flight, wouldn't it be expexted?

I am mostly slewing from a runway with the brakes on. It does not seem to "lift" the aircraft off the ground allot.
Does slew actually lift the aircraft off the ground? How much? If I'm sitting on the runway, it should not lift me that high..?
So you say I should hit the "A" key BEFORE I exit from slew?

Slew doesn't lift the ac unless of course you use a move up control (F4, F3 or Q or joy assignment). But even though the airport is on a flatten, sometimes you can end up a ft. or 2 elevated.
In slew mode, 'A' (move down) or F1 (move down quickly) to descend the ground before exiting slew.

Ok.. Problem solved!!

When I had the SLEW turned on and then hit the "A" key to lower it to ground level, I noticed that the plane would "sink" through the ground up to the bottom of the fuselage. When I turned SLEW off, then the plane would "pop" up to normal sitting position on the runway.
So then I decided to look in the .CFG for a solution. The aircraft was not set to the correct [glow=yellow,2,300]static_cg_height[/glow]. It was too low. So after adjusting this parameter, the airplane does not sink into the ground when it is first loaded or being loward in SLEW mode.
I think this problem is fixed. Thanks all!

I find that the best way is to hit PAUSE once you have slewed to where you want to be - THEN hit "Y" to exit slew. Now, you can hold your breath and think about what speed, altitude, configuration, etc you are in, and be ready for it when you exit PAUSE
Good luck
