Sim not starting

Postby Ijineda » Tue Jun 05, 2007 7:17 am

Hi guys, I recently got this problem: Every time I add some new scenery Im unable to start the sim. It will just load, load, then the splash screen goes away but it still loads...forever. I have to delete my FS9.cfg to make it run again, which is frustrating cause everything is reset to default, all the tweaks etc... >:(

Any suggestions?

Don't add any new scenery? ;D ;D ;D (Sorry, I couldn't resist.)

Does this happen with all new scenery or is it just one download?

What scenery are you trying to install and how are you installing it. The FS9 cfg file has nothing to do with scenery. Did you mean the Scenery Cfg file?

It happens with every new scenery I install. I know its strange as the FS9.cfg has really nothing to do with scenery, but deleting it makes the sim run again!

And Im installing the scenery the "normal" way: making a folder in "Addon scenery" with a scenery and a texture folder and activating it through the settings menu in FS9.
