Hi guys :-)

Any suggestions for the following problem: I have a great B737 I fly mostly within Europe, it's a 737-700 from AirBerlin. I have different flightnumers, for example 1123.

The problem: ATC never calls me "AirBerlin 1123" but always "1123" only. I mean: ATC normally calls for example "Lufthansa xyz" or "SpeedBird xyz" - but I have no idea how to bring ATC to call me "AirBerlin xyz" ...

The file of callsigns that the synthetic ATC engine recognizes is VERY specific.  If I remember correctly for "AirBerlin" to work... in the aircraqft config file the listing has to have a space between "air" and "Berlin".  Or it is the other way around.  Go edit it and reload annd try it in the sim and see if it helps.

I use the freeware ATTrafficMover by Thomas Molitor for setting up my AI stuff.... and it helps with getting such stuff right by using the flightplan aircraft editor.  It flags ion red any aircraft callsign that it does not recognize...and gives you the picklist of the ones that it DOES recognize.

For a list of all the airline callsigns that atc recognizes by default, look here. There is other helpful info there on ATC recognized ac make and model.

I did not see Air Berlin on the default ATC recognized list. It will however be added to the recognized list if you install and run the Editvoicepack-(available here)
