I know..I know. This is a stupid question. But how do I add-on aircraft to my flight simulator. I can download it to my computer, but I have no clue how to get it on the flight simulator program. Would anyone tell me how? Thanks

Hi and welcome to Simviation,

well to answer your question:

http://www.simviation.com/acinstall.htm

Just follow the tutorial on that page.

Good luck,

I have the same problem. I attempted the tutorial, but it seems to be dismally outdated in that it tells you to put things into named folders that you don't see in FS2004. I think it was written for FS2000 and never updated. I could be wrong. I have tried it several times and always end up in a no-joy situation. I must have the only computer in the entire world with which I cannot install add-on airplanes...

Nope. The tutorial is written for FS2002 and that has exactly the same directorystructure as FS2004.

Hey, all you guys,  :)
Get yourself "Addit Pro" from Joe Stern, the best and simplest you can have to install aircraft, sceneries, everything you need.

I think you can download that from the Downloads section. It's twenty bucks. "I never could pull the trigger on such a massive amount of cash," he said, after he spent $3000 at two gunshows within ten days of each other...
