I have just installed FS9 in a Dell XPS M1710 laptop & am very pleased with the result.  Flying at Heathrow with all sliders at maximum is completely smooth but 1] the altimeter reads in meters & 2] flights start paused.    How do I change to good old Feet & start flights non-paused?
Thanks,
TW.

Re: Your first question, Altitude in Meters Metres....

Menu > Options > Settings > International > select "US System" (Altitude in feet).

Second question:

Select a flight, perform all your preferred settings, save as the Default Flight.

Cheers...;)...!

Paul.... 8-)....!

Thanks.    I did check the US one but it didn't work until eight efforts got me steamed up, then it did!
As for 2] I did that but they all start paused!     :-/
