I have uploaded several new planes for FS9..  I can fly them just fine, but they don't appear in air traffic, or at airports.. is there a download I need for this? thanks for the help  :)

Well, to have a plane as an AI traffic you should compile a .BGL AI traffic file via TTools, a thing really not that simple nor intuitive, though not impossible. If I can do it, everyone can. ;D

Mainly though it's not a good idea to use a flyable plane as an AI (with the notable exception of the default planes), because they are more detailed than the AI traffic ones and would bog down your system (the default planes aren't all that detailed and are handy for AI).

If you want to add AI traffic and planes, you can always use some free AI traffic packages from Project AI or World of AI.

PS
Welcome in the forum. :D

Hi Wayne,

When you say they don't appear in air traffic or at airports thats because you will have to add them useing TTools and Afcad for them to show up.

Also you really need to use Ai aircraft not the ones you fly yourself, look in the library and download the tools and afcad by Lee Swordy.

            I hope this helps,

thanks for the advice, I already downloaded TTools.. it's a little confusing, but I think I'll get the hang of it.. ;) oh, and I figured I would ask one more question instead of starting another thread, I downloaded a file for realistic crashes, what file should this go under? thanks again!  :)

File for realistic crashes? You know, we could give you a better help if you tell what program are you using. ;)

Anyway, isn't there a readme with it? :-?

Suggestion for any and every add-on free or pay, "readme" is not a funny name with which call a else nameless file. ;)

If you need another point of view, at the very least you could tell the name of the addon. :)
