I tried to search this one but the bloody search just gives me a blank face every time i try to search anything....anyway, to the point... Iwas running the alphasim f-111 with my mate the other day and was surprsied when the flap settings weren't reflected visually on what i was seeing on his aircraft. (flaps down = wings swept forward) is fs2004 really that retarded it can't send that info through the lan game?? just wondering if this is an fs2004 thing or a user issue :p on that note...things like effects alos, anyone know about those over a multiplayer session?? Thanks

When flying on line in Multiplayer using default aircraft, it is possible to view the position of each other's Flaps, Wheels, ,etc....;)...

I have often been reminded over the intercom, that I have my Flaps or Wheels down during flight... :-[...!

Whether LAN (Local Area Network) flights, and the use of non-default aircraft have any adverse effect on the visuals, I don't know?... :-?...!

Each of you try loading up a couple of default, complex, aircraft like the Default Beech Baron for example, and observe each others Flaps and Undercarriage during flight.

Maybe the effect cannot be represented quite the same using 3rd Party aircraft... :-?...!

...experiment time!...;)...LOL...!

There are setting choices for those items ("Show Animations" or something like that) in the Multiplayer Setting page.... maybe one or both of you didn't have all the boxes checked off?    :-?

As for the program being "retarded", just remember: G.I.G.O.  ;D

FS9 does have some issues with certain effects in MP. It could be the way the model is working the wing-sweep, possibly as an effect, and that is what is causing the problem.
