taxi rudder v wheel

I have seen several posts about this, but nothing that really answers my question. I am using the Logitech Attack 3 joystick. I have rudder l/r set to top buttons. Regardless of whether I use the rudder or side-to-side motion of the joystick, I cannot keep the plane on a good line. I am not taxiing at excessive speeds either. Is there some sort of control to steer the front wheel during taxi?

Thanks for the help.

Don't know whether that joystick has twist rudder control or not, dtexpress.

Assunming that it doesn't, side-to-side movement should apply rudder on the ground for taxiing. That setting is automatic, it DOESN'T show under settings. My guess is that assigning buttons as well has confused' the stick. Try cancelling the button assignments, restoring the normal default key settings, and just using sideways movement. A slight movement is usually enough, no need to put it 'hard over.' Works for keeping her straight while taking off, too.

If it DOES have twist, again cancel the button settings and rely on twist.

If it's STILL too sensitive try reducing sensitivity - but in the joystick settings, not the general ones.
