Saitek X-52 Rudder Problem

Postby swordfish1227 » Tue Apr 03, 2007 8:31 pm

Can we please get this posted into the FAQ section. There are alot of people who have this problem and a few of us have to keep repeating ourselves.

The smaller rotary control on the Saitek X-52 Joystick is linked to the rudder by default. If this tiny wheel is not cenered your rudder will be deflected to the side.

Another little thing is: Completely get rid of that as your rudder key. The X52's software comes with a VERY extensive editing tool, allowing you to chose every single little key you could want. There should be a way to set that rotary wheel on the throttle, using the aforementioned software, to set it to something OTHER than the rudder (Gear, Flaps, Airshow smoke, etc)

All you have to do is reset the assignment in FS and then adjust it within the SST.
