Hmmm... The only way I can see you getting them back is a reinstall.... I always keep a backup of default gauges just incase something like this happens.  :(

Well... What i'd do is rename and move your current FS directory elsewhere on your comp, and then install FS again... when its done copy the default gauges that have just been installed to your old FS. Then delete the new FS, move and rename your old FS.
So that way you shouldn't looses any addons etc....

They can be extracted from the file MSGAME3.CAB on CD#2.

Or as I was about to say, an even easier way would be to extract them from the file MSGAME3.CAB on CD#2.  ;) ;D

Do you have a file named msvcr70.dll in your main FS folder?
If not, you can copy it from the Game folder on CD#1.

Let's start over. Check if there is a folder in your FS named Gauges. There is? Great. Take CD2 for FS2004 anyhow. Copy MSGAME3.CAB to a temp folder. Extract it and put the Gauges map in FS. Overwrite everything if needed. Check if things are working again.

Let us know if it worked.

Crash ;)

PS check if the the Gauges map is called Gauges and not Guages. Small mistake that happened before.

It's MSGame3.cab. Safest to extract the file to a Temp folder anywhere on your PC. Then paste the contents of the Gauges folder (219 separate files) into FS9\Gauges.

also where are the mooney gauges. :)

It's a cluster gauge. The file name is Mooney_Bravo.gau
