Cabin Views

Postby captjim » Wed Feb 28, 2007 2:23 pm

:(Hello fellow simmers, captjim here again,

This problem would include fs 2002 & 2004.  I have downloaded a lot of the aircraft from Simviation, and a lot of them talk about the great cabin & wing views.  Is there some trick you need to know in order to make them visiable???  I know that in some instances the number pad will work, but not on most of them.  Could use some help on this one.  Thanks,  captjim  ;)

Those windows and wing views (unless thy came already installed with the particular a/c) can be downloaded from the panels section here on simV. You just gotta go through the section, download them and make the necessary mods to the panel and aircraft.cfg files. The files come with directions and are fairly easy to understand. Hope this helped. I've gone on Airliners.net and downloaded and installed some cabin shots to my airliners. Just download one or two of the ones available here and check it out.

While in the VC, use the key assignments for 'Eyepoint (move.....)'. Check 'Setting>Control Assignments>View Commands'.

For FS2004 F1View will allow you to move beyond the FS2004/model limits.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
