engine rpm/throttle config for fs9 default planes

Greetings all;My name is Jerry and I've been enjoying flightsim for about 3 months now.I visit a few other sites;and subscribe to a few.I finally found the fs9 cfg files;however have not really had any results.I have an issue with the aircraft speed being set to high.It seems that on take-off and landing the aircraft's speed is to fast.On take-ff the plane will continually"slip the brake ";and start to roll.I usually press F1 to slow the rpm's down.I've tried the fs9 config files;;fuel-flow;reducing the value;as well the  throttle setting;reducing that,The values for the beech 350 is set at 1;so I set the new value at .75.(I hope this makes sense). It seems that originally;when I first started simming the default values for these settings worked fine;not sure what happened to change them.I notice the mis-config'd rpm setting is in any default plane flown from fs9??.Any suggestions appreciated

What planes are speaking of? Defaults or add-ons? Happens with only some plane or with all?

If it happens only with some plane (and it's an add-on) not all add-on out there have well done dynamics, and a tweak or thirty-seven might be needed. This rule extends to defaults as well.

If your problem is extends to all planes, have you tried calibrating your joystick? If your Joystick has a throttle slider and it's out of calibration, hairy things may happen.

thank you for the reply;>The plane I speak of is the Beechcraft350(default);there were others(default).I do not have add-on's yet.I decided that I would reinstall the fs9 software and this worked ok.It is difficullt to say what happens;;why settings change. The important thing for me to understand is there is "good;better;best";intechnology.I notice ;inyour reply e-mail;the specs to your pc.Do you get good results in graphic display with this pc? Thanks again.  jerry.

Are you absolutely sure you did not install anything? I mean, some add-on can screw with FS9 all right, but having FS screwing itself alone might be indicative of hardware problems in your PC.

I'm only putting the possibility forward, mind.

With the configuration as in signature I have a great working FS9, never going under 20 fps with 3D clouds at 100% and detail sliders on the far right. The only times things get a little hairy is when there are a mite too many AI planes around (then again, AI is a resource hog). FSX on this very same configuration had to be despoiled of details down to look like FS98 to have the same performances, and charging its sliders to have the same details of FS9 I had... oh, about 9~11 FPS as an average. I will remain in wait for FS11.

I never added anything to the existing fs9;no add-on's.The only cofg. to O/S is a security feature software pkg."LiveOneCare;MS."I am not sure about un/re install principals;good/bad for pc???;works for me.  jerry
