IMMEDIATELY download a decent set of water textures.

This unless the "smurf piss" color is your thing. Don't feel you must of course, whatever floats your boat... in this case literally. ;D

Then download:

F1view, that allows you to walk into the virtual cabin, among other things like use better the VC.

Fsmetar, to put in use instead of the poor default weather system.

FSUIPC V3 (the V4 is for FSX), needed by fsmetar and almost any other advanced program that interfaces with FS9.

Among the freeware, this is the fundamental. One step further are the Payware.

I highly recommend the Seruphum Concept Jet found here. www.simviation.com/fs_concept5.htm . It is a really good flyer and make just beautiful landings. I hope you like it.  :)

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Fly-By module (http://www.simviation.com/fs2004utilities6.htm) - converts the useless tower view into an active fly-by view.
