Hallo all!
Iam new to the forum and have a problem that is seriously impeding my flight simulator enjoyment. Hope anyone can help me out as I have no clue as to what may be causing it!

I installed a brand new hard drive yesterday because my old one died, and the first thing I installed (after the usual MP10, DIVX, DX etc) was fs9. The first time I played it, it all seemed to be going well. I planned my flight etc, selected my aircraft and set the weather conditions. Then when the actual flight started (I started on the active runway) as soon as I pressed F4 to power-up, the computer just reset! I tried again several times with different planes etc and even tried putting all settings to 'minimal' but the same thing happens.

My Graphics card is an nvidia6200 and I have 1.5GB memory.

The only thing I have changed is the hard drive, but surely that cannot be the problem! FS9 worked perfectly well for the last 6 months since I bought it.

Hope someone can help as I really miss flying in it!

Hi Julian. Same as mine. I'm no expert on this sort of thing but the first thing I would check is your video card drivers.

I'm also no expert at this stuff so this is more questions than answers.

I am not a PC techy for nothing. It sounds to me that something isn't upto speed with FS9. It reaches the gate too fast and then it slams into the gate with nowhere to go but BTD.

Problem solved guys!

I installed new drivers for my audio software and everything goes well now!
