Toulouse Blagnac Runway Problem

I've noticed some problems on a runway at Toulouse Blagnac (LFBO, RW 15L/33R). I wonder if anyone else has noticed it.

While this runway does appear to have a paved surface, aircraft always exhibit the "unpaved runway" behaviours when using it:
  • The aircraft's wheels will visibly bounce on the surface when rolling
  • Dirt may be kicked up by the wheels
  • I hear the "grass strip" sounds instead of paved runway sounds
  • Take-off performance is generally degraded
The other runway, 33L/15R, seems fine. If you like, try comparing the runways to see the difference.

Has anyone else noticed this problem?
If so, does anyone know of a way to fix it?

Thanks!!

The bouncing-around bug is well known and can happen everywhere... btw, why does it bounce? Does anyone knows that??

Checking LFBO in Afcad, tht runway is surfaced with macadam (Wikipedia).

Though it looks like asphalt in the sim it is in reality a (sealed)

Thanks for your replies. Conan; I'm sure I've seen the problem elsewhere...I guess it must occur on all Macadam-surfaced runways.

I've downloaded AFCAD and changed the runway type to tarmac (matching the other runway) - it's a lot smoother now.
The AIP document for Blagnac lists both the runways as being b

No, I mean the bug, when you're standing on the runway, switching to your far away tower view, then switching back to normal, the whole ground starts to bump and the plane bounces. Sometimes I even crash because the gear gets broken. That happens everywhere, even on concrete!

I too get this problem occasionally, but only with particular aircraft.

I agree; It must be a problem with specific aircraft. In recent years, I've not seen this bug at all. I do remember experiencing that problem it a few years ago...I'm flying totally different aircraft now, though.

I've not much idea how the scenery in FS works, but could it be something to do with the runway/airport surface being slightly higher than that of the simulated "ground" below it? I do remember planes falling through the runway on very hard landings, and seemingly landing on a surface below it. I've not seen that in a while though (perhaps my landings have just improved  ;))
