No AI aircraft appearing during video playback

I've been experimenting with creating time lapse videos from within FS 2004, but it seems that AI aircraft do not show up in the playback. None whatsoever, even when I record in regular simulation rate with normal recording speed. Any recommendation would be quite helpful. Aslo, is there another conversion program besides "Fraps" ?

The default recorder does not record/playback ai. For that you will need the add-on FS Recorder Module.

I have only used Fraps, so someone else will have to jump in on that.

FS Recorder also permits: "Playback of multiple recordings
When you use the Play or Play as traffic features, you can select more than one recording
from the file selection dialog (press Shift or Ctrl to select multiple files). This will result in all
selected flights being played back simultaneously. This is useful, if you recorded a flight,
while playing back another one as traffic, see recording during traffic playback."

I think it's good that AI is not loaded while recording a video or during the playback. If you are doing stunts or recording a landing without ATC-permission, it would be very annoying if there were planes on the runway.
