Cannot 'select a flight'.

I'm not sure if this forum is the right place for this, but when I start FS 2004, everything works just fine, except that if I select one of the pre-loaded flights, as soon as I click on 'fly now', the whole programme just unloads, and I have to reload it to do anything else. I can create flights, and fly the aircraft, including simviation add-ons. It's just the 'select a flight' feature that crashes the programme. Any ideas, please?

You mean the predetermined flights, the ones that come with FS9 under "select a flight"? :-?

Does it happen with all of them or only some? Did you perhaps delete one or more default planes?

Yes, it's the predetermined flights that cause the whole thing to drop out. I have not tried every one of them; it gets a bit tedious having to restart FS 2004 each time. Also, I have not deleted any of the original aircraft that come with FS 2004.
I have Win XP sp2, 1Gb ram, AMD Athlon XP 3200+ 2.21 Ghz, Nvidia Geforce FX 5200.
I don't know if that helps. I seem to attract problems that nobody else has ever met!

I'd try a flight with EACH of the aircraft....ie..one for the DC3, one for the Cessna,,,etc,,

It sounds like maybe one of your add-ons have overwritten maybe a gauge file, or something along those lines. check the folder with your flights in them. Maybe it's been deleted or modified. Just a thought.
