hi, i'm having a problem changing my default flight. i know it's simple, and i've changed it before, but since i've gotten a new computer and reinstalled fs9 i can't seem to change the default flight. i'll create a flight, change the aircraft to my payware a/c and check the "make default" box. it still never changes whenever i restart. it's always the cessna. problem with config files? i'm at a loss.
thanks,
rich

Save your flight with 'make default' checked.
Exit the flight.
Choose the flight from the 'select flight' screen and check the 'make default' box before flying.

i've read the faq's. it is a simple task, but for some reason mine is not changing. as stated previously, i've changed it before and had no problems at all until i changed computers. i don't know if it's the nocd patch i've installed or what, but for some reason it's not doing it. i created a flight, shut everything down, then saved flight as default. when fs9 is restarted, under create a flight, my new flight is there, but the when i click fly now this is what appears and the flight deck is unusable. note, everything was shut down when i saved the flight.

for all who have read this post thanks for my ignorance. for as long as i've had this airplane i've never had to use the aircraft configuration utility. i just found that in my folders, like i've stated before, i've never had that problem saving as a cold and dark cockpit before. in the configs it's got a check box for cold and dark. thanks for reading, but wouldn't you know it'd be something this simple.
