Really Weird Scenery Problem

I installed an Arecibo radio telescope scenery and mesh for Puerto Rico on my FS9 that I was never able to get to work properly. I finally deleted these files however, this seems to have left a bizarre problem with my Puerto Rico scenery. It looks as if a giant bulldozer went through the center of the Arecibo Island. There are mountains on both sides that end abruptly in the center with this area flattened down to sea level.

Does anyone know what happened here? Other than this problem my Flight Simulator and all my other scenery files seem to work flawlessly.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

A screenshot could be useful to understand the problem. Anyway if the mountains are shaped wrong, it means that some of the old non working scenery you uninstalled is still there. Suggested to control finely the installed scenery add-ons.

...mm..did you just "delete the files" as you put it?..........did you ALSO remove it from the scenery list in the Scenery Library as you should have.........or there again maybe you never added it in the Scenery Library in the first place and that is why it didn't work for you..............a few things not too clear there..........commoner ;)

..If you can say which file and where you downloaded from then someone might be better able to advise you................ ;)
