Help with DC-9

Hi there. Have downloaded SGA's DC-9 care of Delta Virtual site. Can anyone help with operating flaps and riasing/lowering gear?  Great aircraft otherwise but would be nice to have flaps on takeoff/landing and of course to raise/lower the gear. Does it all depend on how you start her up?  That is 'CTRL-E' versus the recommended method?  Cheers  DR

F5 will retract the flaps fully, F8 extend them fully, F6/7 retract or extend by degrees.
G will raise and lower the U/C.

ozzy72 - thanks but have tried that. Trying any setting of flaps simply states I have lowered or raised the leading edge slats and 'G' simply emits a beep and a flash of the warinign light but no action!  Any further thoughts. Thanks and love the Spit pic.  DR

Odd problems you're having.

What panel are you using BTW? Have you tried changing it for another panel?

Most of the times it's the panel's responsibility if something doesn't work as it should.
