In a bit of a fog, speed-monkey.
1. If you have your ATC Settings the way Commoner shows in Post 4 the window should open automatically, and you'll see the ATC message.
2. Even if it doesn't you can open it yourself by pressing the '~' key at top left.
3. In any case, even if you don't note down the details, your own acknowledgement will repeat the instructions.
4. Even if you're STILL in trouble, you can use the key combination in the Kneeboard or the 'headphone' icon to call up a transcript of the last 10 or so messages you've received.........
I wonder if the problem is that you've been messing around with the assignments too much? For one example, I can't see the point of assigning the joystick trigger to calling up ATC, since the key at top left is just as convenient?
In any case, by default the joystick trigger operates the brakes when taxiing and landing; IMO it's a darn sight more useful in that role than just being assigned to messing around with ATC?
If you're still in trouble, please expalin a bit more what you're trying to do, what keys etc. you press to try to achieve it, and what assignments you've changed? We're all trying to help, but none of us can understand what's going wrong, operating ATC is usually just plain simple and foolproof?
