Take off from Kathmandu (Nepal) and fly on a heading of 088 for about 100 miles and you'll see her

Lukla (VNLK) is the closest airstrip. Also one of the hardest landings in the game.

You can take-off from there as long as you're VERY light on fuel... but the sinking into the valley was brown trousers! It was like doing a bellyflop off the high board at the local swimming pool

Before flying to Everest...I suggest you get Holger Sandmann's mesh for the entire Himalayas...If you wish, you can also install the photoreal textures...The mesh makes Everest truly magnificent and if you wish to complete the pacakge, I suggest you get Aerosoft's Lukla...Add's alot of life to the airport along with some AI

I usually fool around only on the West Coast and in the Rockies, but I was intrigued with what Everest might look like in the default scenery. I didn't know where it was, so I screwed around some in the GFSA Geobat (Mike Stone's aeroplane) at some place in Nepal with alot of Bs and Rs and Ks in the name. Boratski, I think it was. Anyway, the default scenery looks like the rollin' hills of Kentucky, just a little more vertical.
Can anybody put up a screenie or two to give me a good look at The Mountain? Thanks.
