Tupelov Trouble

Hello.  I'm having a somewhat major problem with the Tupelov 144  I recently downloaded (By: Thomas Ruth and Claudio Mussner).  I placed all folders/files in their appropriate places in FS9 and loaded the sim only to find that when I try to load the plane I get an error box that says the gauge APU.gau will not load, and therefore will be deactivated.  Also when I finally get the plane loaded (after Xing the error box out a million times) it rests only on its rear wheels (main gear) with its nose in the air (if not moving).  If the plane is taxiing fast or flying, it will level out but as soon as it gets under a certain speed (on the ground only) the nose piches way up.  I personally like this plane with its effects and want these problems to go away.  I have attempted to fix the problem but with no luck.  WHAT'S UP??? ?? ???
I'll answer any question to the best of my ability if asked so feel free to post back. :)

Here are some images illistrating my problems:

The gauges thing had me annoyed too...I had the TCAS.gau giving me an error...the solution? Trashed the gauge file and added another TCAS gauge to the file...problem solved...You might want to see if that gauge requires FSUIPC registration...Check in the read-me for more info ;) ;)

1: You need a recent version of fsuipc. Solves most of the whining about gauges.
2: best solution is to kill the whole APU gauge in the panel.cfg... it apparently needs a fully registered version of FSUIPC to work 100%
3: Ass stands = fuel imbalance, but a known startup bug too. when the panel works like it should its a little less inclined to do ground stunts

Thank you guys for the response (and the A.D.D spelling correction).  Its seems that the tipping was due to a fuel imbalance - problem solved.  Did the real TU-144 fall on its ass if it was full of fuel??

Next topic...  The APU.gau file error in the sim goes away when I delete the gauge out of the FS9 gauges folder.  I'm glad that this seems to "fix" the problem but am concerned about possibly loosing features without this gauge file installed.  I liked this plane a little for its realistic-ness, and knowing that I immediately loose features kind of SUCKS (is this the case?).  I DO have FSUIPC (v3.47) installed because I have another plane that requires it (not the full version, only a key code).  Is there a key code for FSUIPC for this gauge that may fix the problem?  I tried removing the gauge file that was giving me trouble (APU.gau) and replacing it with a new copy, but that didn't work because both gauge files came from the same zip file.

Once again thanks a lot.  Only 1 problem left... (APU)

No it didn't, then again this is a simulated plane. A thing you could do is make a little edit of the .cfg file and move the rearmost fuel tank forward enough to be able to take off at max fuel.

how do you all get that plane to fly? i can't get mine off the ground with full flaps and a/b! i have a 440 kias overspeed. did you find another update i am not aware of?

I just fixed the unbalance problem by moving the tank forward, but i found another couple of problems. evey time i open one of the pop up panels my engines go into auto shutdown. i have also found that if i lower the flaps in the cockpit view i am stuck there for the rest of the flight!!

anyone have any ideas?

i did somehow fix the takeoff problem

Hi,
new to this forum, I take the opportunity to add something to this topic because I
