Problema curioso

The result of this problem was a blessing in disguise as I took the opportunity to re install FS9 on an empty partition.
When setting up my flightplans I usually use EUroute or Simradar. Both very good but simradar had a subscription that expired so I downloaded a flightplan programme in it's place.
All went well exported the flightplan and then imported it into the game. Firstly FS9 wouldn't download it and then thereafter numerous error messages saying files were corrupt. Even though I traced the files on the disc and copied them over the error messages remained hence the reinstall.   The only thing i can think of is that the flighplan programme listed waypoints that FS9 didn't know about.
Has anyone else had this curious problem??

Sorry, can't really help you there. Usually I use Routefinder and whittle out eventual rough spots with FSnav.

Thanks for having raised a red flag on the two programs/sites, though. While from time to time a clean re-installation can be a good idea, when everything goes fine like lately, finding myself with a unworkable FS for the misbehavior of thirds is a good way to make the Pope decide to excommunicate me, finally. ;D

The two sites are actually very good and I have never had any probs with "their" downloads. Green flags for both in fact. I downloaded "super flight planner" as a replacement for simradar and that seems to be the problem. Although it sets up a good flightplan hardly any of the waypoints seem to be in FS9 and that seems to give FS9 the headache!!
