This was WEIRD....

Postby Alonso » Wed Oct 25, 2006 10:39 pm

Ok... I was just trying to get "the shot" for the October screenshot contest..., I was rolling in Acapulco runway and changed for "spot view" my screen went black and then it was me:

-In the middle of the atlantic
-In a LAN airlines A340 that wasn't in my computer, I erased that like 7 months ago
-Cruising at FL380

then I changed for cockpit view and it was me again in Acapulco.... that was a very weird experience

That's pretty strange ,Isn't it?,well maybe an hipotesis could be wrong loading map when you start fs9 , It didn't load in you ddr or dimms correctly the world maps (include terrain) Got confuse and reloaded correct after you hit to cockpit, also the diferent in FL, is incredible how many things are being loaded in Virtual hdd (hdd, dimms)and more when you load FS9=X ,who know
anyway is very strange

Looks like it....

But 2 questions:

 -  What is that stuff

 -  And where the heck can I get it ?

LOL, do you have active camera? You could have (accidentally) had traffic Lock on, and that was just an AI aircraft. Sounds abstract but it may be the cause....

Strange anyway..

Unless your PC and sim have the power to open time gates on the past (in which case you should fear the MiB's more than anything else) almost surely you ended up momentarily on some AI plane of the same type you remember to have uninstalled. ;D

LOL, nice answers...no I wasn't using active camera or walk and follow... I was just recording with recorder module... such a shame I couldn't make a screenshot... I was on panel view...hit S and it froze and went black for like 3 seconds and there I was....

I wasn't drunk and I didn't consumed drugs....I'm sure...

I didn't notice if it was an AI... I was so shocked... :S
