Finally error free!
Posted: Mon Oct 23, 2006 8:31 pmFor the first time in many months, my FS9 is stable. Ive been asking for help, and even with all the suggestions couldnt figure out what was wrong. I finally used Memory diagnostics from MS and determined that my one memory module was bad. I replaced it with a gig stick and havent had a problem since. I went from 1 gig to 1.5, which makes a huge difference in the amount of stutters, things are much smoother now. I also used O&O defrag version 8.5, it has a 30 day free version. Extremely good defrag program that made my drives look like new. Thanks for all the help that so many of you offered. Todd
