Weather Station Trouble

Postby PlutonianEmpire » Wed Oct 11, 2006 12:58 pm

I'm using FSMetar (thanks to the "more accurate weather?" thread ;D), and right now, it's cloudy where I am, but for some reason, half the overcast is missing, meaning half my city is clear, while the other half is overcast, as in RL, indicated by a straight line or whatever. Even satellite pics show clouds on both sides of the city. Of course, not all FSMetar is accurate, but my gut told me to look into the weather station map where I live, and lo and behold, there's duplicate stations a dozen miles away. one shows clear, the other shows mostly cloudy. My bet is that the clear station is overshadowing the overcast one. Apparently Microsoft messed up somewhere. ::)

Anyhoo, how do I delete a duplicate weather station from fs9?

What M$ make a mistake surely you are kidding  ;D
I have never used this program so I am not sure how you would go about this. By any chance do you have a add on scenery for that area if so that could be your problem. I would suggest you deactivate the addon for a short time delete the database and re rerun fsmetar so it will build a new data base. Then reactivate the addon. If this is not the case it is time to read the readme file. 8)
