Odd.. PC crashes at takeoff..

This is odd..
After my reinstall of Windows after my HDD crash, FS have behaved strange..
I can taxi around on the ground, but just as i lift off, I get " The Blue Screen of Death!"

And this happens ALL the time..!

So I can't enter the contest..

Can anyone help me?

Is it all the time ........ at different airports and with different aircraft? Have you installed anything that might cause it? .... mesh and scenery conflicts can cause similar problems.

It happened to me a few times using Dave Maltby's BAC 1-11 and Trident. It happened when I was on approach, or taking off when I was rapidly changing views. I never got crashes using any other aircraft.

Although, on his site it says people were reporting crashes using his sounds when using Audigy 2 ZS sound cards. I got an Audigy 2 ZS. I haven't tried it with a different sound pack.

That was the first time I ever got the blue screen of death on Windows XP.

No, that's the odd thing!!
It's a totally new install, and no addon mesh or aircrafts installed yet!

That's a strange one then ............ are you sure it's not hardware related ........ make a note of the error number and then look it up on the microsoft website.

Hey Theis,

If it happens when you lift off, you pull your joystick or yoke backwards. Might this be the problem? Check the drivers of your joystick, maybe something goes wrong there.

No, I have tried this, and it's only when I'm taking off..
Could be a driver problem though..
