I know that this question mught already been posted but what are the best world textures,sky textures, and ground textures for fs9.What is your advice,it doesnt matter if it is freeware or payware.

I like Real Environment Pro

generally speaking payware addons are usually more detailed than freeware but only because of the number of people they have to work out all of the kinks. Most free ware designers just do not have the time and the resources that the payware designers have which gives them a unfair advantage.
I use mega scenery northern califorina ultimate terrain (USA) and Active Sky and think they are worth every penny I paid for them. But I also have some awesome looking freware scenery for New York and a few other places.
So it depends upon each person as to what they want out of FS. I go out of my way to make it as REAL AS I CAN.

FSSkyWorld 2004 for Freeware and Active Sky 6 for Payware...both are the best...

GE2006 for ground textures...

what framerate impact does ground environment 2006 have. I was thinking about getting it.

Real Environment Pro is very good, and it is freeware!

I love it, one add-on for both sky and ground.

Try FScene ground textures.

No impact on framerates at all. I have it, can't do with out it anymore.

So to sum up:
Payware
Ground Enviroment, whether you choos 2006 or Pro its all good.
Active sky 6, simply the best addon for weather out there (apparently)

Freeware
Lennarts textures?!
FS Sky world
Real Environment Pro
