Gotta love FS9 problems!

Back once again, with another FS9 problem  :o :(

Here's the story: I was bored today (bout 15 minutes ago) and decided to try the Flight Lessons built into FS9 since I never really did them. I decide to skip ahead to a more fun one: Taking off. So I'm in the Cessna 172, taxi onto the runway no problem at all. Get the 55kts and pull up. At about 2000 feet, It says that I wasn't paying attention and ends the flight. Ok, that's understandable. Flight ends, exit to the main menu, etc etc.

Here's where it gets weird. Instead of just exiting back to the menu screen and Flight Lessons tab, The game shuts down and I get an Error Report message. I click "Don't send" as usual, and FS9 reloads itself as usual. It's happened where FS9 would Crash to Desktop by itself and restart, so thats not new. It loads up, and just before it goes to the menu screen, The game shuts off. No error message, No warning of any type. Just shuts off and doesn't restart. It happens everytime I try and start it up the same exact way.

Anyone know whats going on? I REALLY don't want to reinstall again. Any help at all would be great.

Never had this but the stock first answer before re-installs......

copy your fs9.cfg file to a backup and then remove itr from the root.  Then restart the game.

best,
