If the gauges are inside the panel folder or in the main fs9 gauge folder ,I mean performance,Will fs9 load the planes faster because it doesn't has to look in other folder ,its inside panel folder?or is the same performace is the same thing?do the VCs work better when their inside aircraft panel folder or is the same in fs9 gauges folder

Quite honestly I don't think it makes any difference to the performance at all. Note that some of the default gauges are located in the appropriate Panel folder. For example; check out the default Douglas_DC3.

I have read somewhere that putting the gauges in the panel folder may make some planes load a bit slower. I've never tested this personally though, so I couldn't tell you how much difference it makes.

I don't notice a difference in performance when the gauges are placed in the panel folder instead of the gauge directory, then again I really havn't thoroughly tested it either

The only problem with loading gauges in the individual aircraft folder is space. There are many gauges that can be used by multiple aircraft. As a result you will end up using more space on you hard drive. If you have the space it wont be a problem.

Space works both ways....

If you put gauges in the panel folders instead of the gauge directory, you can delete the aircraft without accumulating gauges, therefore saving space in the longrun that way

I believe you can still alias to a panel with gauges in the Panel folder.

...couldn't that be a bit dangerous ?...I mean if you delete the A/C with the gauges wouldn't the ones aliased to it lose their gauges?

I can just imagine my aircraft folder with all the aircraft I have, (bearing in mind my old brain cells) getting in a right mess ...........commoner

..........my preference is to have them with the panel when possible.

Oh,brother I guess Im gonna have a hell of a job tomorrow,see i recorded more that 150 planes In a DVD In *. zip,..an entirely program for my personal Use,I mean I did an automatic instalation of all my planes wich includes FS9 Program and it set all in it ,so when I erase my hdd(Almost every two month) I wont have to reinstall everything back,thatcould be the reason for why it takes sooooo long to start the fs9 prgm in my PC ,now i get it

I THOUGH i DID GONNA HAVE TO set ALL THE *.GAU INSIDE OF EVERY AICRAFT /PANEL FOLDER.....

Thanks People you save me from a very and big tidious Job,so i guess i wont have the need to change my Big *: zip files into another DVD after all....Thanks Doug....
